The Nigerian Federal Government, through the Attorney General, Mohammed Adoke, has yesterday declared before the United Nations Human Rights Council that it will not bow to International pressures by allowing same-sex marriages in Nigeria. The government argued that it is utterly against Nigerian (and indeed African) CULTURE and VALUES. Moreso 92% of Nigerians have upheld and supported the Anti-Same-Sex Bill passed by its Senate.
