President Jonathan's Minister of State for Health, Dr. Mohammed Pate, put in his letter of resignation from the Cabinet on 22 July, 2013. He is taking up a Professor position at Duke University's Global Health Institute, USA.
- Good man...you know what is good for you. CONGRATS. It is indeed unusual for any minister to resign in Nigeria, considering d amount of $ dem dey pay to get d position!!! Abi una no know? Where have you been? Na dollars o...no be jepejepe naira....and u know say $ dey portable. Anyway sha dat is d 'mallam' in dis guy. My own people no go do dat o. Dem go wan do 2nd and 3rd terms sef.

- I sure say you don taya for awa system, wey some empty barrels no go let people wey sabi work to work. There is always someone somewhere to spoil a 'good day'. Dats d history of Civil Service in Nigeria. If you come with your innovative ideas, you can be sure dey will kill your spirit. Dem go say who be dis oyinbo man sef. Even president no go accept beta ideas at times...for selfish reasons...dats how bad it can get. I KNOW...no be say dem tell me.
