WORKING FAMILIES ARE SPENDING LESS TIME TOGETHER THESE DAYS.

A recent survey carried out by Virgin Holidays, and Universal Orlando Resort shows that families are spending less time together these days because they are busier than ever. They spend little over half an hour quality time together, on daily basis during the week because of demands of modern life. It says parents and children have less than eight hours together in total each week. Weekends are usually better with an average of two hours and twenty minutes on both Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Na true...Dis is not funny. We are turning out 'lonely kids' dis days...nawa. But man must wack...abi? Dats what puts d food on d table at d end of d day.
  • You will agree with me dat compared with Nigeria (back home), it is worse with the Nigerian families resident abroad in Europe, USA etc....bcos at least for Naija you go get family members, uncles, aunties all around you..even house-helps, to warm d home and keep your kids company...free of charge sef. Nigerians abroad are too busy running from pillar to post.
  • Bottom line be say.... there is still no substitute for d real parent-children time....make person no go turn out kids like dat Abdul Mutallab wey put bomb for pant...abi those other two idiots wey butcher wan soldier for London d other day!!!
