A University of Maryland, School of Medicine Research has concluded that teenagers who smoke cannabis, are most certainly going to develop brain damage, and schizophrenia in adulthood. The study, published in the Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology, exposed young mice to the active ingredients of marijuana for 20 days. It found that their brain activities were impaired, with the damage continuing into adulthood.
