PSF UK GETS NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE !!!

PSF inaugurates UK Interim Working Committee

The Progressives Solidarity Forum, United Kingdom chapter has inaugurated a new working committee to steer the affairs of the forum.
The inauguration was sequel to the dissolving of the past executive a month ago.
This was contained in a statement issued to the press by the forum’s Director of Information, Media and Publicity, Jacob Ogunseye.
The Grand Patron of the forum, Dr. Ibrahim Emokpaire, who was also the former chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (UK), congratulated the new executives and tasked them to see their appointment as a call to service.
Pouring encomium on the former General Secretary of the forum, Barrister Joseph Adebola, Emokpaire described him as a man of integrity who has displayed a high level of competency and encouraged him to prepare himself for bigger opportunities in the near future.
He also announced his elevation to the office of National Director of International Affairs.
Emokpaire urged the executive members to respond to the clarion call of making their nation great.
The new executive featured some members of the former executive.
The chairman said: “Your appointment at this period of our country (Nigeria) is a clarion call to service. You need to set the ball rolling as soon as possible to reposition the forum, and our country at large.
“Many people and organisations are looking up to PSF at a period like this, the gory situation in our father’s land should be of concern to all and sundry. We should act now to save the situation, the corruption in the past government was capable of setting the country on fire, our inputs are needed and it is now.”
Responding on behalf of the newly executive body, the new Chairman of PSF UK, Joseph Fadele, expressed optimism over the appointment and promised to work with other PSF executives and the general members of the forum to attain its goals.
In his words: “PSF UK has placed in our hands a great job and collectively we will strive to achieve the desire greatness and work any authority to re-write the history of our dear country Nigeria.
“I urge all the executive members to please work with me to reposition PSF”.
“The time to build is now, and I want all the members to see the work you have given us as a work we should all do together.”
Other executive members sworn in included Oluwaseun Bayewu – Deputy Chairman; Olive Onwualu – Vice Chairman; and Patrick Adelusi – General Secretary.
