A NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM THE UK CHAPTER OF APC!!!

Dear Compatriot,

The year, 2014 has closed on a high and we embrace the new year with optimism, despite our beloved country, Nigeria, having been and still being subjected to unprecedented security turmoil and political misdirection, in addition to other numerous challenges facing her. On a positive note, the Year has closed with hope for a bright future - hope for a new beginning that will be devoid of corrupt practices, squandermania, tribal and religious strife; a change for a better life, security, prosperity, harmony and equality of opportunity. 

As we all know, the hope for Change has been brought about by the emergence of a formidable opposition party with purpose and zeal - the All Progressives Congress.  It is a party with a determined and visionary leadership in the persons of General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) and Professor Yemi Osinbajo that is poised, from all indications and opinion poll results, to win the next presidential election in this new year and, set our country on the path of recovery, progress and respect for the rule law, where, all its citizens will live in peace, harmony and security with one another. 

However, this cannot be achieved without us all getting up, shaking off all forms of complacency and with renewed vigour, putting our hands on deck to see this Change comes to fruition. Our effort should not just be targeted at the Federal Executive level but also States and all Law-making branches of government all over the country. I am sure that I need not exhort you by reminding you that is nothing to be shy or scared of as - it is for us and future descendants of our country.  It gives me great joy to say, you are already contributing a great deal to this onerous effort, as can be seen but I will also like to add as I mentioned previously: We must never rest on our oars until victory is secured, lock, stock and barrel. 

I, therefore, urge you to join hands in fraternity to ensure that 2015 goes down in the annals of our national history as the beginning of Change in our dear Country - a Change for the better and in its truest and purest form.

Remember, "Victory awaits those who strive for it"
