KWANKWASO'S FRIENDS DECLARE 'FREE' BREAKFAST IN LONDON!!!

The prestigious Novotel Hotel, Lambert Road, Central London, was yesterday thronged with endless queues of Nigerians as the UK (Diaspora) Branch of the Kwankwasiyya Ambassadors of Nigeria (KAN), treated Nigerians in London to a full course 'British Breakfast' Reception. This was to honour, and mark its dogged support for the impending candidacy of Kano State Governor, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as the APC Presidential candidate come 2015.
The occasion commenced as early as 09.00hrs, through to lunch time (mid-day). The who-is-who of the Nigerian community in London were present and well represented. Our own very Victor Smart, from NAIJABLAB, reported a large turn out of crowd which included Alhaji Aminu, the Deputy Chairman of APC, UK Chapter, who delivered an apt speech titled 'Distinguishing The Men From The Boys In Our Choice Of Leaders'.
Other dignitaries present at the occasion included the popular/modest UK-Nigerian Peoples' Leader, Elder Duro Lawal, the maverick UK-Nigerian Youth Leader, Charles Lawson, The down-to-earth Chairman/Chief Executive of  the household UK/Nigerian Radio Station (Surprise FM), Chief Akinsanmi, and a host of other top Nigerians resident in the UK.
The roll-call of Organisations represented included the Progressives Solidarity Forum (PSF), the BBC, Ben TV, and the Movement Of Visionary Elites of Nigeria (MOVE), UK, who generously donated the sum of £2,500 'towards a worthy course' (according to its President, Dr. Yomi Savage).
The Coordinator/Convener of the Breakfast Reception, Dr. Ibrahim Emokpare, extolled the prowess and  qualities of the 'man' Kwakwanso, which included uprightness, humility, progressiveness, and passionate love for the nation. Under Kwankwaso, Kano State enjoys free education, and free meals from primary to tertiary level. It is also on record that in the UK alone, Kano State has over 3,000 students enjoying State Scholarships. It was further revealed that transparency and accountability are uppermost on Kwankwaso's ideology, because he is the first and only Governor in the entire Nigeria to hold his Commissioners and Heads of Departments to task, by electronically receiving 'text messages' of every (and any) financial transaction undertaken in all the State Ministries. Dr. Emokpare finally appealed to the crowd to vote for progress in 2015, by voting Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as the next Nigerian President. He said, 'To be a President is no child's play as you can see from the present dispensation. Therefore, I appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians here present today to vote with their conscience in 2015, by voting Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Let us begin to separate the Men from the Boys, just as the Speaker had earlier said. The wind of change is blowing Nigeria. It is time for change'.
The Kwankwasiyya Ambassadors of Nigeria (KAN), is gradually becoming a house-hold name in the UK and Diaspora.

  1. I never knew who Kwankwaso was until today and all that I heard and saw on the video clip shows a man with a vision and a political will to make a change in Nigeria.

I went to the Breakfast reception with a cynical mind but came out with the conviction that Nigeria has finally gotten a man with the right credentials to pilot the affairs of our great nation.

I pray he wins the APC Presidential ticket and ultimately become Nigeria's President come 2015.

  2. Twas a great day, meeting 'korrect' Naija people in London. Good for networking. And by the way, I was impressed with Kwankwaso's CV, and achievements. It makes Jonathan look like child's play indeed.
