A 60-year old man, Timothy Adegboye, was stripped naked, beaten and tortured at the palace of the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, Oba Omowonuola Oyesosin, in Osun State. This happened during a meeting called by the Oba to settle a highly disputed family land in the community. Adegboye was confirmed dead at the Gedu General Hospital, Ejigbo, Osun State, where he had been receiving treatment.
