70,080 NIGERIAN CHILDREN DIE ANNUALLY FROM WATER RELATED DISEASES!!!

Water Aid Nigeria, an International Agency have revealed that about 70,080 Nigerian Children die every year from water related diseases, while more than 40 million Nigerians lack access to safe and portable water. It says Nigeria loses EIGHT CHILDREN every HOUR to water-related diseases!!!

  • And we are supposed to be d GIANT OF AFRICA??? Giant my foot....have you ever seen a giant dat eats without drinking water???
  • What does it cost awa government to dig BLOODY bore-holes in d whole damn country....say every 10 miles apart? Or every Communiity? Or make it mandatory for all Local Governments to do dat, and assist dem to achieve it.
  • Without Water and electricity, how can any nation progress??? What is left of your human DIGNITY??? I ask.
  • In my area of Lagos (LEKKI), there is no government Water Supply. Everyone digs his own bloody bore-hole. Can you imagine how much cash d bloody government has set me back on? And I have to contribute with 'uncooperative' neighbours to dig 4ukin gutter in order to let rain water flow??? Or else we shall all be submerged in water. Plus I have to buy, and fuel my GENERATOR in order to get light. You can imagine how gruesome it is in other higher density (less privileged) locations/areas.
  • So which work is government doing? Why must a REASONABLE MAN be expected to pay TAX in dat damn country....even if government officials put a KNIFE to your neck???
  • It is even WORST in remote areas and villages, where dey rely on RIVER WATER dat sometimes serve as TOILETS too. So should I do THANKSGIVING to GOD dat I am even lucky??? What is my claim to HAPPINESS???
  • Is dis how to live? Should life be dis HARD. Is life not more pleasurable than dis? Must a man be RICH to live a normal, happy life? Well, in my Nigeria you will need to be very very rich....no half measures. And dat explains d cleptomanic leaders we have.
  • Isn't there supposed to be an unwritten SOCIAL CONTRACT between individuals and their governments? Isn't that why I should proudly claim to be Nigerian, and even opt to die for it? Why do you think d USA or UK governments would do ANYTHING to protect their citizens abroad?...Tok less of while inside their beloved country?
  • NAIJA...me I TAYA o....Awa case deserves DIVINE INTERVENTION...as is often said.
  • The whole world must FAST and PRAY for us....we need it badly....(more than d water sef.)
