Answer = They all sold for N1,000 each in our Nigeria of the 70s.
- I SYMPATHIZE with the young lads of today, and MOURN for the ones to come!!! Dey (graduates) cannot even afford common KEKE (bicycle) now. Our HouseBoy rode a 4ukin NEW RALEIGH bicycle for God's sake!!!
- Dis was REAL...No be say dem tell me. I (ME)...(MYSELF)...(VICTOR)...(d son of Mr. & Mrs. SMART)....bought a ROVING Volkswagen Beetle for N1,000 CASH in 1975 (altho na my papa pay for am)....but he worked hard for his money.
- In those DAYS even awa Fed Gov. gave their Civil Servants Quarters in Suru-Lere, which d good old Civil Servants paid for small by small, until they finished paying. Life was STRESS-FREE!!!
- How do you tink those houses on Ogunlana Drive and Adeniran Ogunsanya Road in Suru Lere came about? Tell me what any Government has done since GOWON (Go On With One Nigeria)...even though I do not agree with dat slogan TODAY.
