The one-time Nigerian Chief of General Staff (CGS), Vice Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe, is dead. He died in a New York Hospital, while receiving treatments for Cancer. He was aged 68, and hailed from Fugar in Edo State. Admiral Akhigbe was once the Military Governor of Ondo and Lagos States at different times in his Military Career.
