COINCIDENCE OR IMPENDING EARTHQUAKE???

Incredible: An 18-foot-long oarfish found dead in the water off Catalina Island near Los Angeles, California

A mystery: Oarfish dive more than 3,000 feet deep, sightings of the creatures are rare and they are largely unstudied

The fish-looking serpent you see here is called an OARFISH. It is about 18ft long, and was wash ashore in Catalina Island, near Los Angeles, California USA. It took 16 people to drag it ashore. They have been  known to grow as long as 50ft, and weigh 600Ib. They typically dive more than 3,000ft deep, which makes sightings very rare. The appearance of two such sea serpents in California in the last week (second one was almost 14ft long) has raised rumours of impending EARTHQUAKE. Japanese folklore says that Oarfish usually come to the surface when there is an impending earthquake. In 2011, just a few months before the magnitude 8.9 earthquake that hit Northern Japan, over a dozen oarfish were either washed ashore or caught by fishermen. Scientist however claim that these bottom-dwelling fish are very sensitive to seismic shifts under sea level, and that it could just be a coincidence.

  • FINGERS-CROSSED, there will be no earthquake in California!!!
  • Nature is WONDERFUL.
