NIGERIA TO HAVE NEW ARMY DIVISION IN SOUTH-SOUTH!!!

The Nigerian Chiefs of Service Staff have concluded that there is need to establish a 9,000 strong Army Division in the South-South as a result of border infiltration from Cameroon and the Gulf of Guinea. There is a similar Division (the 7 Army Division), already in place in Maiduguri which checks border banditry in the far North.

• Needless to say it is long overdue, but Army Politics have stalled it over the years from happening. Bcos most of awa Top Generals were Northerners, dey were more disposed to locating Army Formations in the North at the expense of STRATEGIC reasoning. And also bcos dem no want make South smell power at all at all....full stop.
