The Police State Criminal Investigations Department Yaba, SCID, is investigating the shooting of a 30-year old car dealer, Uririnke Onojorhoevwo, by Customs Officials in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos. He was shot to death after being pursued by Customs men attached to the Federal Operation Unit. Some policemen attached to the Gowon Police Station, who witnessed the shooting claim that the Customs Officers fled after the incident. The police had thought he was a smuggler, but on closer inspection of the vehicles, they saw that all the import papers were complete and intact.
- Useless Customs officers..so so blood money una dey chop....una too chop bribe. A Naija custom officer can collect money from his dead mother. Dats why una all dey die young. Too much curse dey report for una foolish heads.
