FLOOD DESTROYS IBADAN AND BENIN.



A 25-hour HEAVY RAINFALL lasted from Sunday evening to late Monday evening a few days ago in Ibadan, Oyo State, and Benin, Edo State, destroying lots of properties and causing heavy traffic jams. Numerous lives were also lost.

  • Sebi na so so die my people dey die for Naija during raining season. We never seem to learn awa lessons...year after year. Once d rains are over, the government folds its arms...until the next raining season.
  • Common sense dictates dat we sort out awa roads, drainages, and river channels in d dry seasons...but no be Naija? Na EMPTY FEFERITY we sabi do.
  • We dey develop BIG BIG projects, inviting foreigners to INVEST, dey build mighty mighty houses...and yet we no get SIMPLE DRAINAGE.
  • See mumu Fashola dey build Lagos Atlantic City? For what? When una no get ROAD (make I spell am)....AARRRU....OOOO...EEHHHH....DEEEE...road.
