The United States have discontinued the famous Visa Lottery DV-2015 to Nigerians and a few other countries. It is claimed that in the last five years over 50,000 Nigerians have benefited from same, and emigrated to the USA. Other ineligible countries include Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Peru, Pakistan, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea, Vietnam, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland).
