The President of the Nigerian Bar Association NBA, Okey Wali (SAN), has said kidnappers are ordinary criminals, and do not deserve Amnesty. This came after the recent suggestion by the released Human Rights/Constitutional Lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, who said Kidnappers should be granted Amnesty in Nigeria. Wali's view was also echoed by the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (Lagos Branch), Mr. Taiwo Taiwo.

- I have been wondering what d hell happened to Ozekhome's thinking faculty, for him to suggest something so RIDICULOUS. Abi wettin he chop for captivity. Maybe he inhaled too much of d IGBO/CANNABIS/GBANA wey d foolish kidnappers dey consume...making his head a bit too light.
- I have simply put it down to d fact dat he had spent too much time with d VAGABONDS when in captivity, and was still haunted by their TERROR....poor chap. It is unlike him.
- How d hell can (even a stack illiterate) suggest we give AMNESTY to idiots and good-for-nothing SCUMBAGS like Kidnappers. Very soon we go give PIRATES, AREA BOYS, and ROBBERS, plus politicians, governors and senators wey chop awa money sef...abi?
- I hereby suggest dat we pay for Ozekhome to go for a thorough MEDICAL CHECK-UP. The NBA can pay for dat please, as a sign of comraderie. Something has gone wrong. Mike needs urgent POST TRAUMA THERAPY....no be joke o.
