Culled from Daily Mail.
Doctors at the BLK Super Speciality Hospital in New Delhi, India, spent 18 grueling hours separating Nigerian conjoined twins who had shared the same spinal cord, gastrointestinal passage, and genitalia. The rare condition is called THE PYGOPAGUS, and 40 doctors were involved in the pioneering operation. The one-year old twins hail from Kano State, and the operation was said to have cost £64,000, which was sponsored by a Nigerian Philanthropist!!!
- Nawa O....It is nice to hear dat na one philanthropist sponsor d Ops...bcos awa rich men usually don't give a 4uk about d plight of the poor. And yet we no get good medical services.
- On d other hand, SHAME on Nigeria. Se una dey see wettin India dey achieve??? Its even a shame for us to be running to India for simple operations...No be d same MEDICINE awa doctors and their own read?
- For awa side doctors go dey struggle to enter government politics for appointments, instead make dem improve their profession. Same goes for awa professors for university...all of dem wan be MINISTERS.
- Bottom line be say awa government yeye..no be small...dem no dey improve awa education and health sectors bcos all their kids dey study abroad, and even when dey get small headache, dem go vammus go London or Germany all at d expense of d tax-payer.
