ASARI-DOKUBO HAS BEEN RELEASED.

The leader of the Niger Delta Peoples' Volunteer Force, and Activist, Mujihadeen Asari-Dokubo has been released this afternoon by the Gendarmes of Benin Republic. It is gathered that President Jonathan had personally intervened on his behalf. It would be recalled that a youth militant group from the Niger Delta had yesterday issued a 48-hour ultimatum, after which all hell will break loose if he was not released.
