The UK has announced plans to scrap the controversial Visa Bond of £3,000 imposed on the citizens/visa applicants from countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Insia and Sri Lanka. This was initially done in order to deter visa applicants from over staying their six-month visa.
