POLICE CORPORAL KILLS HIS SENIOR OFFICER.

This Policeman (ASP), Olusoji Elegbede, serving in Gashua, Bade Local Government of Yobe State, was shot dead by an angry 53 year-old Police Corporal, Andrew Bitrus. He was said to be giving orders to the irate Corporal, who was attempting to use his position as a policeman to settle scores with his uncooperative girl-friend. The Corporal felt slighted that Elegbede asked him to go and settle his relationship palaver in a Civil Court, and not in the Police Station. He drew his gun and shot Elegbede several times. Elegbede was only three months into his marriage to wife, Jane.

  • RIP....my guy!!! How sad...too many INSANE people among us Naijas.
  • Ordinarily we no dey respect Laws..and when it comes to uniformed personnel, it is even worse.
  • Dis is also an example of DIS-RESPECT for Human life...typical of Nigerians.
  • At times it is more common out there in d North. Dem no GIVE A 4UK if life is involved. Once dem vex...dem tink say YAMUTU na d solution. If dey no see gun, dem go pull KNIFE/DAGA. Dat also explains why some people can venture into suicide bombing.
  • Me...I don tell anyone wey care to listen say if anybody vex you for street, make you just take by force KOOL YOUR OWN TEMPER. Ee no mean say you be idiot. It only means you dont want to be WASTED BY A LUNATIC. Maybe d guy never chop real food for two days sef. Abi ee fit get mental health issues sef. You will not be alive to know all dat???
  • Shame about dis poor chap here. I also believe awa policemen should be taken through MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING. Awa various experiences at CHECK POINTS explain dis.
  • Dis 4ukin Bitrus guy should serve d rest of his miserable life in prison, and even HANG sef..
