Mikhail Kalashniko, the inventor of the AK-47 Rifle is dead. He died at 94, and was born 1919 in Western Siberia. The diminutive Russian held a PHD in Technical Sciences, and his AK-47 Weapon is widely used all over the world. Although honoured by his home State, he made very little money from the invention, and was once quoted to have once said he would have made better money from inventing a Lawn Mower.
