The Senate in Nigeria is investigating how $27 million, proceeds of sales from Nigerian Federal Government properties in the USA, disappeared. The sales were conducted between 2004-2007. The petition that spurred this investigation came from TNM (Transform Nigeria Movement), signed by one Mr. Daniel Elombah.
The Senate has summoned the former US Ambassador, George Ibiozor, Nigeria's Permanent UN Representative, Ambassador Joy Ogwu, and Ambassador Adebowale Adefuye for questioning.

- If person wan chop sef...you leave naira, go dey chop dollar. Dat wan na 'advance level choppies' (ALC).
- There should be a better standard of accountability. How can we in 2013 be investigating 27million wey disappear for 2004. Dem take juju chop am? Ee be like say awa leaders dey craze...walahi. 27million, na small money???
- Meanwhile some nigerians dey for dat same USA wey don go grey from slugging and struggling to make a living, and make ends meet. If dat money was used as a pool of loan or scholarship funds for Nigerians in USA, wont dey be eternally grateful, and proud to be Nigerians???. I ask una.
