Mrs Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of the former Governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has been made to succeed her grandmother, Alhaja Abibat Mogaji as the President-General of the Nigerian Market Womens' Association. She has been officially endorsed by the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, amid controversy. At the traditional rites ceremony, Folashade claimed that it should not be a challenge, as she had been working very closely with her late grandmother, who passed on 15 June, 2013.
- Dis is raw show of power, otherwise known as 'Pasia'. How on earth should a lady as young as dis be d head of all market women in Lagos...all those ogbologbo women?
- Tinubu will stop at nothing to annex d whole of Lagos under his family. Even sef Fashola don giv up, and chill out. I remember when Fash first got there, he was making gra-gra to object to d corrupt practices he met on ground. But to awa surprise, within a short time, d guy just chill like ice water...look the other way. I sure say dem call am tell am say make ee sima down if he no want wahala. Dat is awa Nigeria. People of conscience all have a price tag...courtesy of dat devil called IBB.
- Dem say when 'guluso' (type of insect) wan bury himself, ee go dey dig ground, dey dance at d same time. We shall see. Ee be like say when people grab pawa for dat awa Nigeria, dem no dey respect God again, not to talk of fellow human beings.
