CHIDOKA GETS TOUGH ON ROAD SAFETY LAWS.

The Corp Marshall of the FRSC, Osita Chidoka, in a bid to ensure road safety, said in a Conference in Abuja, that henceforth, the use of telephone while driving will fetch you a jail term, as opposed to the usual fine. This will also apply to over-speeding, over-loading, and dangerous over-taking. He further said that commercial vehicles should now fit speed limit devices on their vehicles to stop them exceeding the 100km per hour-mark speed-limit.

  • Osita...welcome to my world. Before now I used to wonder what you were getting paid for. What about those who drink and drive..nko?
  • Na so so chop chop your boys on the streets dey chop. On the other hand, I hope dis will not heighten their choppies level. Na d ordinary naijaman go suffer, parting with more naira on daily basis.
  • Would be nice if all could play by the rules. After all una no dey see wettin dem dey do for abroad? Mumu people..just dey kill una selves like fowl everyday.
  • D problem is likely to be those insane commercial drivers. Some of dem should be confined to d asylum.
