The Olofin of Ado-Odo, in Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran, has given evidence before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the crisis that led to the setting ablaze of his palace. The Commission which sat in Isabo, Abeokuta was set up by the State Government to look into the crisis, which took place on 15 April, 2013, whereby he was attacked in his palace by a pack of disgruntled hoodlums.
Oba Abdul Lateef Adeniran claimed that the hoodlums beat him with charms, stole his N1.5million, attempted to rape his wife, and made away with his crown and other royal valuables.
The attackers are yet to be identified and brought to book.
