As a result of the State of Emergency declared by the Nigerian Federal Government in three North-Eastern States, namely, Bornu, Yobe, and Adamawa States, the Nigerian Envoy to Cameroon has revealed that there are about 1,500 fleeing Nigerian Refugees now in Cameroon. They had crossed into the Northern part of Cameroon, in an attempt to escape the dastardly Boko-Haram onslaught.
The good news however, is that the Cameroonian government has magnanimously granted 'unlimited stay' to them until things normalize in Nigeria. It would be recalled also that the Cameroonian government have played an active role in exchange of security information with its Nigerian neighbour since the start of the present brouhaha.
