There has been a jail break in the Olokuta Medium Security Prison in Akure, Ondo State, where about 175 inmates were brazenly released by unknown gunmen who attacked the prison with explosives and guns. The attackers were said to have taken their time to take a Roll-Call of those intended to be released. Police is investigating the matter.

- Dis is partly ineptitude on the part of d State Government. Where una Prison Warders go when dis happened? I bet dey fled into the bush. Also i wont be surprised if dey even collected money and assisted the process.
- Even sef, how old is dis prison? It was probably set up in d colonial days to cage black resistance. Dem never reinforce d building since dat time. I sure say na mud dem take build am sef. Dem no even need dynamite to break jail. So what are we talking?
- D wan wey go pain me pass be say awa government nogo get their acts together and re-arrest dis guys promptly. We no kuku get criminal data-base. So if dem escape to Lagos or neighbouring Edo State...na 'yours truly' (permanent freedom) be dat. It will be business as usual for murderers and robbers. Na d average Nigerian go suffer am.
